Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary

Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary opened in August 2015 to provide refuge for farmed animals in need.

The founders, Shaleen and Shilpi Shah, began their journey with a horse named Jale, (pronounced Haalee) who came from a situation of neglect.

After rescuing Jale, they received a call about a pregnant mare at an auction, where they discovered a variety of suffering farm animals who also needed help. This inspired the Shahs to start a sanctuary for farmed animals.

Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary's rescued residents include cows, pigs, turkeys, chickens, horses, goats, sheep, and ducks.
